GIORMANI CAMELOT Wins “International Sustainable Design Excellence Awards 2025”
We are honored that the CAMELOT sofa has been awarded the “Global Excellence Award” and “Impact Promotion Award” at the International Sustainable Design Excellence Awards 2025 (ISDA). The International Sustainable Design Excellence Awards 2025 is an international design award aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs). It aims to provide internationally recognized qualifications for individuals, teams, and organizations, encouraging and commending influential innovations and sustainable designs worldwide.
Designed collaboratively by renowned Hong Kong product designer Ron Leung and Kelvin Ng, Founder and Chief Designer of GIORMANI, the CAMELOT sofa and packaging embody a solid wood concept and elegant aesthetics. The CAMELOT B further integrates circular design elements. Materials utilize premium recycled components, reducing resource consumption and promoting circular development, offering customers a sustainable sofa choice. The fully modular frame allows for easy disassembly, facilitating repairs and replacement of parts. Undamaged components can be reused, effectively minimizing waste, extending the sofa's lifespan, and reducing waste generation. Packaging utilizes fully paper-based flat-pack solutions. Modular assembly saves shipping space, reducing transportation greenhouse gas emissions. Paper packaging minimizes virgin resource consumption while boosting recycling rates.
